Stephen is Joint Managing Director and a Chartered Engineer with over 33 years’ experience as a building services engineer. He has worked on a range of large scale projects in the Commercial, Educational, Healthcare, Hotel, Sport & Leisure and Conservation Sectors. Stephen utilizes the latest technologies and techniques to delivery the client’s design on time and on budget. Stephen also integrates digitalisation, decarbonization, and climate mitigating strategies into the design for the most advantageous outcome for the Client, Stakeholders and End Users.

Stephen is also a Registered Fellow Professional Consulting Engineer with ACEI (Association of Consulting Engineers in Ireland) and a Fellow and Honorary Secretary of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering & Estates Management (IHEEM Rep Irl.). He is actively involved in arranging informative seminars and events for all members of the Healthcare and Construction Industry, both public and private.

Stephen has particular experience in healthcare projects as well as refurbishment and conservation projects within protected structures and understands the complexities and level of collaboration and coordination required within the project team. Stephen has worked on a number of high profile projects such as the award winning Cork University Hospital Cardiac Unit, The Mater Misericordiae Hospital 100 Bed Emergency Ward Block, The Law Society Four Courts Dublin, Belvedere House Belvedere College and Powerscourt Distillery, Powerscourt Estate, Co. Wicklow. Some of the award-winning projects that Stephen has worked on include the Europa Nostra Award for 10 Henrietta Street, and the innovation award on both the National Indoor Arena Abbotstown and Long Room Digital Hub Trinity College.
