JVTE is a special subsidiary of JV Tierney offering Environmental and Sustainable Design Solutions. We have become synonymous with the highest quality environmental design concepts and are accredited to EN 14001:2015 Environmental Standard by the NSAI.
We are accredited BREEAM AP’s & Assessors, LEED Commissioning Agents (CxA), Building Energy Rating (BER) Assessors and Home Performance Index (HPI) Assessors, and a number of our projects have achieved the international environmental standards of BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and LEED ‘Platinum’ accreditation. We provide the role of Energy Efficient Design (EED) Expert, which is a central role in the overall execution of the Energy Efficient Design Plan for a project.
JVTE are committed to the pursuit of climate mitigation, decarbonisation, and energy efficiency in the built environment. The focus of our approach to sustainable energy use and Net Zero Operational Carbon (NZOC) is to use robust, passive, cost effective measures to create more energy efficient, comfortable, and healthy buildings. We adapt our design approach to achieve goals set out in the National Climate Action Plan 2030-2050 (CAP23) as well as client & project specific sustainability targets, aiming always to reduce long-term carbon impacts and costs, lower embodied carbon and overall environmental impacts.
