Refurbishment of Regent house and adjacent House 5, both protected structures to provide an improved reception facilities within the College. The works involved refurbishment of the grand cantilever staircase, grand hall, adjoining spaces and reception foyet. Installation of a new audio visual equipment within the grand hall for exhibition style presentations. Installation of a new passenger lift serving multiple levels, new ground floor WC facilities. Installation of new mechanical and electrical systems including fire alarm detection, air sampling detection, general and emergency lighting, access control, CCTV, mechanical ventilation, low pressure hot water heating, hot, cold, mains water services and drainage systems.
