The Sidings is a 10-storey Grade A office scheme, covering 20,000 sqm, located in the heart of the Grand Canal Dock area in Dublin 2. The building is home to the European Headquarters of Google, Facebook, Stripe, Airbnb and a host of other global tech leaders. The building will provide a flexible, large floorplate space in a dramatic headquarters building in the heart of what has become known as Silicon Docks. The project involved the replacement of a former railway sidings with 14,000 sqm of flexible office floor space, with the ability to accommodate multiple tenants across 10 floors, alongside a ground floor cafe space, bike storage, spacious staff changing facilities and basement car park. The building is located close to major and rail networks with views overlooking the nearby Aviva Stadium Dublin Bay providing tenants with excellent transportation links and a pleasant working environment.

This project is a state-of-the-art commercial development, designed and delivered to the highest standards of environmental sustainability, achieving its energy performance targets. It is very indicative that the project is the first triple-platinum accredited building in Ireland; holding LEED Platinum, WiredScore Platinum, and AcitveScore Platinum certifications, while also achieving a A3 Building Energy Rating (BER) and NZEB certification, which underpins the projects approach to energy performance and sustainability.
