Hidden away in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Glensavage is a collection of 22 homes set in a beautiful hidden site of 2.49 acres off of Avoca Road in Blackrock. The project involved demolition of an existing house on the site and construction of 8 houses and 2 apartment blocks ranging from one to five bedrooms.

Services provided included:

• Provision of ESB substation and associated infrastructure
• Design of general services, data, low energy lighting systems and fire alarm systems for each residence and for the common areas of each apartment block
• Provision of DEAP calculations to achieve BER energy ratings
• Highly efficient heat pumps utilized for underfloor heating, radiators, and domestic hot water production
• Heat recovery units that recover up to 90% of lost heat
