Bank of Ireland Operations & Wellness Centre

by | Oct 27, 2022

This week marks the successful completion of Bank of Ireland’s new Operations & Wellness Centre in Cabinteely, Dublin.

JV Tierney were the Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainable Design Engineers on the project, which saw the complete refurbishment and conversion of an existing office space into a state-of-the-art corporate wellness facility. The upgraded facility is home to new gym studios, toilets, changing and shower rooms and a juice bar.

We provided the full M&E refit of the building as well as sustainable design solutions such as Occupancy Controlled LED lighting, heat recovery ventilation to limit heat loss, and efficient refrigerant-based air conditioning. The design also incorporated a high efficiency heat pump to generate the hot water demand for the shower facility.

This project was driven by a collaborative team effort from JV Tierney alongside BOI, Keith Coffey (PM), Reddy Architecture + Urbanism , KSN, Wilson Controls Ltd. – Electrical Contractors, Brian Scully Services, and a construction team led by Codam Construction.

Congratulations to all involved!
