Eoin Marmion has over 9 years’ experience in Building Services and Mechanical Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland. Eoin completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Energy Systems Engineering in 2018. He has developed extensive experience in the design and delivery of mechanical building services across residential, co-living, commercial, hospitality and healthcare projects.

Since joining JV Tierney in 2020, Eoin has progressed to Associate and has played a key role in leading and delivering Mechanical Design across projects from early concept and feasibility through to detailed design, tender and construction. His project experience includes major residential and co-living developments at Clonliffe, Poplar Row, Clonross, Eblana Rathmines/Ardee and Merrion Road, as well as commercial and hospitality projects including Boston Sidings and the Clink Hostel. He has also delivered mechanical services design for specialist commercial kitchen projects and contributed to preliminary designs for a number of complex developments.

Eoin now specialises in Healthcare Design, with significant experience in the delivery of complex clinical environments including the Merlin Park Surgical Hub, a 30-bed ward and isolation room development at University Hospital Kerry, and the Development Control Plan for University Hospital Kerry. He has also contributed to heating and cooling strategies for exemplar HSE ward block designs. Eoin has a thorough knowledge of mechanical services regulations, industry standards and healthcare guidance, including HTM requirements, and brings a strong technical and project-focused approach to the delivery of resilient, compliant and maintainable mechanical systems.
