DIRECTOR APPOINTMENTS AT J.V. TIERNEY & CO.

Stephen and Rory will take over from Finn Ahern and Joe Lee who have been joint managing directors since 2002. Finn has retired from the practice and Joe has stepped into the role of Chairman and Director.



Rory joined the practice in 2006 as the Managing Director of JVTE, our environmental division that provides expertise in the field of Sustainable Design. Rory has particular skills in thermal modelling and energy performance and energy efficient design management.



Stephen joined the practice in 1988 after graduating from Bolton Street Technology in Building Services Engineering. Stephen became a Director in 2006 and is involved in Healthcare, Residential and Commercial projects.
                                                                                                

J.V. TIERNEY & CO. is pleased to announce the appointment of Ciaran Kelly and Damien Conaty as Directors.

Ciaran joined the practice in 1999 - he is a talented designer and brings considerable skills and experience in the delivery of healthcare, commercial and education projects for our clients. Ciaran is the senior project engineer for a major new 98 Bed Emergency Ward Block at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, now on site and is also currently working on the 780 Bed Student Accommodation Scheme for NUI Galway. Ciaran heads up our ISO Accredited Team.

Damien Conaty joined the practice in 2000 and has been involved in a variety of projects in the commercial, institution/secure centres, and education sectors for both public and private sector clients. He is currently Senior Project Engineer for Limerick Prison Extension (18,600sqm), due for completion in June 2022. He also led the development and updating of our electrical services specification in line with new standards and regulations.
