2023 marks JV Tierney’s 75th year in business and a celebration was in order to mark the occasion. The event took place in the impressive Powerscourt Distillery, which is located on the grounds of Powerscourt Estate and in the backdrop of the Wicklow Mountains. This was a fitting location for our event given our recent involvement in the Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainable design of the Distillery.
On the night we were joined by industry colleagues, staff, and friends, all of whom were welcomed into the original 1760’s Millhouse Building for a drinks reception and then taken through a guided tour of the distillery. This was followed by food and drinks in the bar, where Chairman & Director Joe Lee and Joint Managing Director Stephen Walsh delivered speeches, which took the audience through a passage of time on the company’s achievements and memories from over the last 75 years.
We would like to thank our guests & staff at Powerscourt Distillery for a fantastic evening that was worthy of the milestone. Here’s to the next 25 years!
